In my past experiences with fuses blowing on the end, I have found it was
caused by heat from a loose connection rather than excessive current flow.
Sometimes it has been the wire on the fuse holder loose. Other times it has
been the fuse holder itself. Some types of fuse holder are bad about the
clips spreading and not holding the fuse tight.
