[DeTomaso] Engine/distributor questions

Pretty easy, if it has a dual piont distributor is isn't an Aussie 351c.
All Ausie 351c's in DT cars had a Bosch electronic distribuor.
If i remember right, MSD 8477 is a small cap with vacuum advance distributor.
MSD 8350 is a ready to run with vacuum advance.
Keep in mind, that heat is an issue specially on Panteras distributor location.
I would not recommend a ready to run unit in that case.
A cheaper way is using a reconditioned Ford magnetic distributor and a Ford
ignition box,tha can be easily found in an aftermarket shop.
( i can get it here in town in Germany)
