[DeTomaso] Help needed with lower a-arm shaft kit installation

[Pantera 1887]

My parts came from Pantera Performance Center and they fit perfectly.
Here's and page that shows the steps of rebuilding the assembly
http://www.panteraplace.com/page87.htm  The bushings are split and require
seating in after to insert them.  I did that by starting the hollow shaft
into each bushing and wiggled it a bit.   After that the shaft slid through
the bushings fine and the shaft was snug but turned freely.  

 

Sounds like you may have a defective rebuild kit.
