[DeTomaso] alternator belt

Chris,  did the new bracket have an idler pulley?
I had a shop install the Kirk Evans bulkhead reduction kit.   A  couple of 
months ago, after a year of use, I heard a strange noise.
Inspection showed that the idler pulley mounting nut/bolt had worked  loose.  
The belt was trash.  We put that pulley on very tight and  replaced the belt.
Once again... Did your install have a pulley?????
