[DeTomaso] Distributor engagement

You're probably hitting the oil pump drive shaft with the bottom of the
distributor.  Just turn the engine over by hand a bit and it will drop
in.  If you can turn the crank 2 revolutions, then you can double-check
your static timing.

HELP!!!  Currently trying to install a duraspark distributor back into
the block. It does not want to drop the last 1/4 inch. 

I would appreciate any ideas what is needed to get the distributor to
seat correctly.
