[DeTomaso] Cracker in Georgia Re: Jiffy Lube - NPC

Isn't it odd how things have different meaning for different people?

For instance, Mr Shortt's use of the common term for anus. I'm pretty
sure his definition would not match mine.

As mentioned previously, there are damn few people on this list, if
any, that I agree with. There are damn few I like or respect. I am
pretty sure this attitude is mutual, probably without exception.

Just remember this when you need help, you are bound to get the
"membership" lecture, or the archives rant, or some slacker talk,
maybe some off color joke from Ohio . . . or all of these things - but
one of these folks, that you don't like for one or 17 reasons, will
come forward and take the time to help you out. By help, I don't mean
some lame one liner and a link either. Help: as in a phone call and
20 minutes on how things should work; as in a post that takes 10
minutes to read and digest (never mind write) based on years of
experience and is right on; help as in spending hours doing a favor
for a stranger. What I'm getting at here is almost without exception,
everyone who as ever agitated me has also come to my aid.

Of course, some folks don't need any help . . ever.

Are the TPR guys really the favorite target of gastroenterologists
everywhere? Most likley. Offensive and tiresome, you bet. Just
don't forget they will appreciate your efforts, take you into their
home, help you prep your car, buy you a beer, paint your toenails
(thanks Tom), and fight a room full of corvette owners for you.

Write it if you must, think about it hard and long, and remember the
delete button.

TPR member, Pantera DRIVER & asshole.
