[DeTomaso] TIG welder

I can't speak specifically for that welder but I have the 220v single 
phase Lincoln 175 square wave Tig. It has been an awesome machine. I 
have TIG'd a couple hundred pieces and it does it like a champ. The 
biggest piece was a 1 inch thick aluminum plate 12 inches wide. I 
beveled the edge and welded it back. The handle got quite warm as it was 
not water cooled (which could be changed if need be) but did an 
outstanding job on a hunk of aluminum. It is in fact still in operation 
2 years later as an electric motor mount in an industrial roll forming 
machine.

In fact, if you know what your doing even a 110v MIG can be pretty 
formidable!
