[DeTomaso] Windows and gas mileage (very limited Pantera content)

Dunno, but for what it is worth, I have heard that above 40 mph the drag
caused by open windows has a greater impact on mileage than AC (ie if you
are at highway speeds use your AC instead of windows.) Of course, in a
Pantera your mileage may vary. :)
So whatever happened to those plans about a year ago to put a Pantera in a
wind tunnel?

Subject: [DeTomaso] Windows and gas mileage (very limited Pantera content)
A question just for MD before he unsubscribes.
Anyone have any educated guesses on the effect on gas mileage of driving
with your windows open?
Anyone have any Cd numbers for a Pantera or a 4-door sedan with the windows
closed and open?
Anyone know how to convert those numbers into gas mileage?
Had a 9 hour drive in the daily driver today with lots of time to wonder
about such important things. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep before getting
a good answer...
Thanks!
