I bought a digital gauge from Summit or Jegs a year ago...it has the fancy-schmantzy light and its own carrying case...and then I have a 10 year old analog gauge that has no light and no carrying case....quess which one is more accurate? ;-]

Along those lines....I recently discovered my 20 year old tire pressure
gauge was off by 10psi - indicating too high. Oy.

Excellent point. In ORR it is the #1 cause of tire failure.

Last night while getting ready for the drive down to Monterey today, I
checked my truck tires which I had not done in a while. They should be 40
psi all around. The fronts were 40 and 41. The rears were both 18. Yikes.

Before heading out this weekend, check your tires. You may be really glad
that you did. :-)
