[DeTomaso] which gear to park in?

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed before.......
   
  I have been parking my manual shift cars in 2nd gear since I was 16. I have been doing the same with the Pantera. However I'm wondering if that might be hurting the ZF in any way.
   
  Is there a preferred gear to park in? What gear do you park your Pantera in?
