[DeTomaso] Techno question: dead temp gauge

Chuck,
 
The temp sensor in the block should measure (between the place  where the 
gauge wire connects and the engine block) around 200 ohms at  ambient, around 70 
ohms at 160 degrees, and around 5 ohms at 200  degrees.
 
These temperature sensors are not precision devices. Resistance  measurements 
could easily differ by 15%.
