I am no expert on the matter, but in researching this issue in the forum 
archives, it seems that the differences in characteristics between GL4 and GL5 are 
great enough that you should attempt to use the proper stuff.   To be honest 
I don't even know what is in my own car, although I *think* it's an oil that 
was marked as GL4/GL5.
