Bob,

	Check the rotor's top center metal tab that contacts the distributor cap's
center carbon button.  If it's bent or not centered, it's edge can catch the
button.

My car is painted and the motor was torn down
All bearings look brand new considering the
300 degree temps I have seen on the oil temp gauge.
New springs will go in the heads with a freshening.
The water pump impellor fell off.... I have talked
to many Windsor people that have seen this
problem... maybe the Cleveland Gods are haunting me.
The only other problem is the MSD carbon ball in the
cap is gone... this is the second time now... car
never misses a beat but wondering why??
Will contact MSD but has anyone else ever
heard of this problem
