At least they are not as bad as those shows on Speed with the fake drama
like Pinks and Whips or the wrenching shows that are little more than
infomercials for their sponsors products.

  I had an opportunity to listen to Jack Roush talk about NASCAR being 
controlled and scripted "just like wrestling".  I wasn't sure how you could 
do something like that.  He mentioned that when the cars get too spread out 
and things are going too smoothly, you can count on a yellow flag being 
thrown for debris on the track to get them bunched up again.  I don't know 
how deep it goes and he shut up after that, though you could tell there was 
a lot more to the story.  I really liked NASCAR in the 60's and 70's when 
they used "real" cars.  I can't get interested anymore.
