[DeTomaso] Is this as bad as it sounds (NASCAR)

Well it all happened pretty quick right as the yellow came out. There's
no debate that the yellow was out when Ambrose hit Gordon, the question
is weather Gordon had completed the pass before the yellow came out. I'm
not trying to defend Gordon, just passing on the full story. IMHO NASCAR
totally screwed it up and if they had just looked at the tape, made an
honest call as to weather he made the pass before the yellow, then let
Gordon re-start in the appropriate P1 or P2 spot it would have been a
hell of a race to the finish between the two fastest cars. Of course
that didn't happen; Gordon went ballistic and deserves to pay the price
for his actions.

The part I don't get is how Ambrose spun Gordon under the yellow flag
and got away with it. Wouldn't that have been a lot more obvious, and
more obviously intentional, than spinning someone under the green flag?

I realize that intimidation is accepted as part of many sports, but I
don't appreciate bending someone's fender any more than a late tackle
than may end another player's career.

Yeah and Bank Robbery is just as old. Those that are stealthy,
run the
risk of getting wealthy. Those that get caught are not given
another
	Bank to try next week.

He was caught... time to pay the price.
