Hi Rodger,
Not only should you jump the hot to the blower motor, but also bring a good
ground wire over to its case. If this does not get it to spin up to full RPM
it is "blower motor replacement time".
I have never replaced one in a Pantera, but Jack tells us that it can be
done with the dash in the car.

I was on my way back from a picnic yesterday and the air conditioning blower
motor quit or so I thought. When I got home I found that it was running but
only at about 30 RPM. I jumped the switch and it went back to normal for
one second but that was it. Now it just runs as if there is low voltage at
about 30 RPM. Any ideas guys?
