100% of the Pantera parts vendors sell new clutch slave cylinders; call your
favorite. All are far better than any 'rebuilt' unit, partly because there is
no true rebuild kit, and partly because even if you or someone else pieces
together a 'kit' from parts of other cars, all the Pantera cast iron clutch and
brake cylinders are peculiarily sensitive to water in the hydraulic fluid and
rust rapidly. So adding new seals to a pitted cylinder only causes a quick
failure of your new parts. Honing out the pits normally expands the bore enough so
any new seals don't seal.

I recommend a stainless steel long-throw clutch slave which works fine with
stock OR aftermarket master cylinders. But adding only a slave cylinder will
likely cause the clutch MASTER to fail soon after, as it experienced the same
contaminated hydraulic fluid; all parts of a hydraulic system tend to degrade at
the same rate. Buying from a Pantera vendor also guarantees the parts will
fit your stock hydraulic lines- something most aftermarket stuff won't do
without rework. So since one normally doesn't want to fix things twice, also get a
new clutch master to go with the long-throw slave & install them together.

Good luck- J Deryke
