[DeTomaso] Viagra for sun visors?

 Where is the problem?? On my passenger side visor the metal rod / cylinder that sticks out of the visor was turning in the visor, as I recall, rather than the rod turning in the clamping device.? I saw no cure that I thought would work long-term so just removed that side visor, as that seat is very seldom occupied anyway.

As I recall Hall had an aftermarket part they sold that would work, but the price seemed excessive so I passed on it.

Mine was the same.
I put a slighly larger diameter screw to replace the originals because
it seemed they would not grab the metal strip in the visor much.
It worked like a charm & now the stay up.
