Dan Jones turned us onto a product designed to boost the ZDDP content in
motor oils to protect solid-lifter cams. 
 
It was called STP Oil Stabilizer.

Was this stuff not everything it was cracked up to be and was removed from
the market? 
 
Is there a similar additive one can add to a solid lifter engine to help
protect it?
