[DeTomaso] Any one live near or in Bristol CT that could lookat a project?

Mark,

  I called him last Sunday about the brake system and it sounds like he offered you the same deal that he offered me. I am hoping to sell more parts off the car that I'm parting out to upgrade my brake system. Out of pure curiosity I asked him about the GT5 kit and that's when he said he was hoping to sell it as a package with the wheels. If the wilwood system hits ebay, it will probaly go for more than 2k.

  Not sure if the Hall wheels have the offsets for the GT5 package, but if they do, 2K is a good deal for the kit, and wheels.

He was asking 2K for the brakes and 2K for the GT5 kit. 

One thing I need to figure out is where the lead is in the car. He has left it in place and I would like to replace it.

Thank you for the follow up note. How much did your seller want for the 
brakes? When I seamed up my car I actually elected to separate the seams 
then respot weld them. I feel that it has made a significant difference in 
the stiffness of the chassis and has prevented any stress cracks from 
forming any where to date.
