[DeTomaso] Removing undercoating

Joe, My rule is any time you can use a razor blade scraper...do it. Heat from a hot hair dryer is safe. Aircraft stripper is messy, and you will want to protect your painted areas because it will go to metal. I stripped my engine bay with aircraft stripper from NAPA. Then used small wire wheels on a die grinder to get the nooks and crannies. It's a bitch, but after you get to bare metal you can etch prime it. I have a procedure for that too. You will have to apply the stripper more than once too...Get a little kid to help.....Bill
