True, and IF it had blown up they would be. As it was, there was virtually no metal to be found in the oil, just a vey fine dust from one rod bearing that had spun. It required a lab test to detect any metal.

  Oil coolers and associated lines are normally considered trash when an engine blows up and spreads debris throughout the oiling system.  :<(
