I don't think any type of locking device will help me
On my last two oil pans... The Firebird autocross car
put a rod bolt thru the side of the pan along with 
destroying the crank after only 10 autocrosses
but it was over a one year period.
The GT 350 clone on the 11th day of tracking blew
the back 1/3 of the pan down after the
rods exited out the bottom... the sides of the
block were not attached any more but the
pan nuts were still in place.
 
No need to worry about pan nuts if you
have a leak somewhere else
