[DeTomaso] ProvaMo Login in Confirmation...

The "MAY" part is because an owner can select Privacy, or not, either when
first adding their car
or later when updating a field, even if the only field "updated" is just the
PRIVACY flag, which blocks owner info.

And if you include text in the car description that goes with the photos,
naturally that can be seen by a limited
number of people, only those that have contributed photos themselves.

One contributor included info that I considered "personal". I edited it
out, confirmed with the owner,
and then his page was linked in.

I am one of those "kind of paranoid" people, somewhat fearful of the "Big
Brother" attitude of Gov't or business,
so I lean towards protecting people, like how I would want to be protected
and treated.

But participating in my website and activities is up to "you".

As for other owners e-mailing you.... No. E-mail addresses are not going to
be available (except to me, naturally).

For those that want more caution, get a free e-mail account at Yahoo,
Google, Hotmail, or any one of hundreds
of providers, and use that to login. Note that you may want to keep that
account active, as if you need to update
your information, only THAT account will have access.

I only ask that you supply your real name, as I pay the bill for the site,
and I want to know who is spending my money.
That is fair isn't it?

If you don't want to register, or supply your real name, then feel free to
enjoy www.geocities.com/ProvaMo72.

>From the web site FAQ:

What is the Privacy Policy?
Your information (E-mail address or other) will not be provided to outside
sources. If your submit details regarding a DeTomaso you own, that
information may be available to certain other owners. Visit the ProvaMo
Registry of DeTomaso vehicles for further details.

Of course, that does mean that Chuck and other Pantera owners can send you
emails about your "size" problem. <grin>

As invasive as the web has become I am programed not to give anyone my
email or register unless I absolutly have to; unless it is an official
club I am a participating member of. No greeting cards, no photo viewers,
nothing. If they need that info they don't need me.
