Thomas,

I've not seen one of these setups before. You say mounted on flexplate - how does this work? The engine I have is from an automatic transmission car - does this mean I could use the existing flywheel without the torque converter?

  Thanks

  Phil

There is a Swedish owner and his son that has stuffed one of these in
their Pantera.

They are using a 90 degree exhaust and a dual disc Tilton clutch mounted
to a flexplate. It has a magnificent sound. They demonstrated the car
last fall, and the audience was ecstatic! The throttle response with the
super light flywheel/clutch assembly is phenomenal, and it will surely
help boost the lumpiness.

The clutch was probably one of these:

Not much horsepower, but the sound... ;-)
