Will, You did the right thing. Word has it that .o55 gap on the plugs  may cause an off idle stumble.  For me the 6al likes a big gap. Mine are set at .055 and it runs great.....Of course I have it revved more when I kick it. Who would leave off idle anyway? .....Bill
