Help with posting on the POCA Forum
Dear Forum, I am keen to reply to Mr. Michael Shortt's posting in the Publications Forum of the POCA Forums. From what I think, I am supposed to be automatically subscribed to post and reply on the General Discussion sub forums. Alas, I am stymied. I to see that others have responded to his posting. Help? Warmest regards, Chuck Engles
You are not alone. I think there is supposed to be a “Reply” button, but I do not see one on ANY threads and thus am unable to respond or provide input on the POCA Forum. Perhaps that is whey there appears to be no interest in the issue of the Newsletter and Profiles. Mark Charlton pantera01826@rogers.com On Jun 10, 2016, at 10:11 AM, cengles@cox.net wrote:

That's also a problem with how they set things up. By -default- they don't set up anybody's account with reply functionality. A user has to manually go into their profile and set every forum as available , one-by-one. It's a pain in the rear. What they should have done was make all forums available by default, because then if you don't want to post, you just don't, but if you do, you're not asking a bunch of questions and taking up valuable IT resource time or others trying to help out. Not to be too critical.... (like I can't be), but it seems counterproductive to have more postings asking about how to use the system than actually being able to use the system. (okay, snide comments over). Asa Jay Quoting Mark Charlton <pantera01826@rogers.com>:

Thanks Asa Jay, I consider myself “somewhat” IT-capable and spend a while looking to see if I could figure out what I was missing. THANK YOU! for explaining it (and confirming that it is not intuitive…) :-) Mark Charlton pantera01826@rogers.com On Jun 10, 2016, at 11:06 AM, Asa Jay Laughton <asajay@asajay.com> wrote:

I agree. We have to call Club Express and have that changed. You guys can also call them for help and ask them about that, if we have enough requests it can happen. Ed Sent from my iPhone 6 Plus
