help searching (powder coat campys)
I was doing research whether or not to powder coat my original campy's. The new search for the list gave reference to [Restoring Magnesium Campagnolo Wheels the Right Way http://www.poca.com/detomaso/2000-06/1205.html by Mike Drew and Jack DeRykeI]. But I can't find it. Besides decoding the ".200-06/1205", any comments on whether to powder coat or paint would be welcomed Joseph F Byrd Jr I was doing research whether or not to powder coat my original campy's. That was a story that we did on how we recondition Magnesium wheels using a Boeing 727/737 specification for reconditioning their Magnesium landing rims every 100 landings to crack check and stress relieve annealing, oh then finish with a powder coat finish to seal the pores. I had to go check the Pantera Parts Connection web site, I thought that it was there under our Tech Tips but it¹s not there either. I will have to see if it survived Mike¹s and Jacks numerious computer crashes. On 5/26/16, 3:48 PM, "DeTomaso on behalf of Joseph F. I had read the narrative Garth linked, but didn't catch it was the article titled " Restoring Magnesium Campagnolo Wheels the Right Way". So I have the information and made my notes from it. Just I couldn't figure out what the "2000-06/1205" would be. I just learned of a local shop that powder coats and hope to be talking to him in the following weeks and wanted to have a step by step instruction for him Thanks Joe -----Original Message----- From: Mike Drew [mailto:MikeLDrew@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2016 22:58 PM To: Larry Stock Cc: Joseph F.
