Membership renewal
What's up with the membership renewal system? Checks are going uncashed (for weeks!). Emails go unanswered. Phone calls are met with a voice mail that says the message box is full and can accept no further messages. If online renewal is going to be the only accepted way to renew, then don't offer other methods in the email renewal notices. This is just good Customer Relations 101. Who's minding the "store"? Guys, POCA had an election a few years ago, and Debi Mead was elected as Membership person while Josette became Advertising/Publicity person. Debi's had a few challenges recently- one of the L.A. fires was stopped 5 doors from her's and Scott's home. And since he was 2 weeks out of spinal surgery, he wasn't up to running much. She's Scotts caretaker. No power for days (weeks?) and no cell phone as the towers were also damaged. IMHO, some slack needs to be cut. Several of our family members have recently experienced significant health issues, and Debi has been the one-armed wallpaper hanger, juggling work, our home, chauffeur to Dr. appointments, etc. (and POCA Membership).
