I had to shorten my throw out bearing even after taking the 3 shims out. I discovered my throwout bearing was tight against the clutch fingers when I replaced my pressure plate and disc. Good thing my friend is a machinist.

That is odd Just a thought Before you put the transaxle in— Pull the fork all the way back against the tranx. Make sure you’re not hitting the fork against the front seal housing or bolts. The bolts should be Allen heads to make more room for the fork. I have trimmed the inside of the fork to keep it from catching on the seal housing. Rich Sent from my iPhone

Rich Uh…there is no fork. It’s an internal hydraulic throwout bearing. It still strikes me as terribly odd though. Mike Sent from my iPhone

Agreed. Something isn't right. Also - maybe the clutch slave is not adjusted properly. -- On 5/29/25, 7:14 PM, "Rich Hoppe" <richbhoppe@gmail.com <mailto:richbhoppe@gmail.com>> wrote: That is odd Just a thought Before you put the transaxle in— Pull the fork all the way back against the tranx.
