Hahahaha When I make my wench load the trailer…. I use axle straps and thread them through the wheels. Cross strapped through the wheels front and rear. Make sure you get the car far enough forward that the engine is over your axles. M WAYBAC #6859 Sent from tiny apple obfuscator.

Merrill, Yes, once the car is in the trailer that’s a viable plan. But he’s asking about using a wench to winch his car into the trailer, and wants to know where she should connect the winch cable to the car? Although there are factory tow hooks, they are useless and not strong enough for the job. I would be reluctant to rely on them. Mike Sent from my iPad

I had a blonde wench who once put the straps through the wheels to winch it on! I usually pass a strap through the chassis where the sway bar passes through or will strap over the sway bar ah side of the chassis. As long as the car doesn't have too much rolling resistance you are okay. Ahhh, My bad. I saw wench and then couldn’t concentrate from laughing too hard 😉 On a separate note, I am looking at putting tow straps on the bumper rams just for this use case. /\/\ -----Original Message----- From: Mike Drew <mikeldrew@aol.com> Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2025 11:40 AM To: Mirrilm Earthlink <mirrilm@earthlink.net> Cc: redcatman74@gmail.com; detomaso <detomaso@server.detomasolist.com> Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] Re: Trailer loading Merrill, Yes, once the car is in the trailer that’s a viable plan.
