Thermostat .... visual differenced between Cleveland and. Windsor thermostats

I have read several times of Pantera owners having overheating problems that were at least partially caused by using a Windsor thermostat in the Cleveland Pantera engine. Does anyone have a picture they could share which would allow a visual identification of the differences in these different thermostats? Thanks, --Ed L I have read several times of Pantera owners having overheating problems that were at least partially caused by using a Windsor thermostat in the Cleveland Pantera engine. Here is a photo of the Marlin Jack's thermostat and restrictor. Notice the copper "hat" on the end. Also is a write up I did to compare the bypassing versus radiator flow between the proper thermostat and one that was sold by MS . Joe, Thank you very much for the pictures and additional info. I am fortunate to have also received similar info in a PM from ken MacArthur. Now I know what I'm looking for and will get one of the Robert Shaw setups. I appreciate your help. --Ed L -----Original Message----- From: Joseph F.
