Is there a better place to advertise some engine parts than this email forum? I don't usually see much advertised here. Not trying to step on toes or overstep my bounds if this is taboo. If taboo, my apologies. I have a 351C block with extensive work, some brand new Crane Cams roller lifters, and a Kevko fully baffled Pantera oil pan to sell. I have two 351C blocks and don't need to store both. The 351C block is bored to just under 0.020" over, sonic checked with minimal core shift, good thrust wall thickness, line honed, 4-bolt mains with ARP studs, CNC decked to a mirror finish and indexed to the crank, and the lifter bores were bushed via a CNC machine with orifices for hydraulic roller lifters. I have over $2000 into this block and I would like to recoup some of this so don't expect used block pricing. This would be a really great basis for a powerful engine! It hasn't been honed (intentionally) so someone could have it honed for the pistons and rings they will be using. I think I can ship this via truck freight. I think a quick post like what you made is just fine, and don't forget to post on POCA and PI forums. On the flip side, I think it's generally accepted that we don't advertise businesses or business parts on a regular basis. But look look at how Larry Stock has been doing it... I think that works very well in the construct of this email forum. Larry has been responding to some posts with (basically) "hey, we got that" as he owns Pantera Parts Connection. It's not like he's taking out an ad, but more like he's saying if someone really needs one, he's got one. It's not like the ad emails that come in every day from other outside vendors that you just purchased one part from. It's like me popping in and saying hey, I have one of those on the shelf as a spare and I'm willing to sell it to you. I'd enjoy seeing other vendors pop in once in a while and do the same thing. I agree with what Asa Jay has to say completely. I wouldn't like to see this turn into a Vendor glossy ad campaign, but I think it is quite interesting for them to answer a specific request and gives value to this list just like Larry does. People are looking to source a specific part and they learn where to do it and how much it costs. Everyone wins. I also, personally, think it's fine for individuals to advertise if they have things they'd like to get rid of. I like the the idea of people selling on this list. Common convention dictates that we format the subject line with an "FS:" so those that are not interested can easily skip. I actually have a few things that are taking up garage space, so will post them here over the next few weeks. Brent
