Were gas tanks mounted on the passenger side from the factory?
I came across this photo advertised as a 1970 pic outside of Ghia. It shows a Pre-L (not a push button) with left-hand drive and a petrol fill cap on the passenger side. Also, are those front hood tie down straps on either end by the cowling? I'd be surprised if that photo were really from 1970, as it's a Group 4 car. 10 and 15" rims, sliding plastic side windows, hood tie downs, as you state, etc. These came out well after the pushbuttons, and well after 1970 methinks On Tue, Aug 23, 2016 at 1:39 PM, Rob Dumoulin <rob@dumoulins.net> wrote:

More than likely the caption should be "1970's", thus implying anywhere from 1969 to 1981. Hard to hold a vendor to a high level of accuracy for one car when they deal with hundreds of different brand items. I especially notice that when values are expresses as x's, in real estate a property listed as "in the $100,000's" really means a $200,000 asking price. -----Original Message----- From: DeTomaso [mailto:detomaso-bounces@server.detomasolist.com] On Behalf Of Larry - Ohio Time Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2016 9:42 AM To: 'Charles McCall'; 'Rob Dumoulin' Cc: 'Pantera Mail List' Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] Were gas tanks mounted on the passenger side fromthe factory? That's a late 1971 photo of a 1972 factory Gr4 or GT/4 race Pantera. Totally different animal from the street cars.... Mike Sent from my iPhone On Aug 23, 2016, at 4:39, Rob Dumoulin <rob@dumoulins.net> wrote:
