Pictures of the prototype
On the photos Joseph sent, I noticed the rear gills appear in the typical gill areas on the sides but also appear on the inner verticals of the deck lid. Connecting the two to be functional seems a feasible. , but also seems to be a bad design that would let water into spaces of the trunk with no exits. Anybody know if these gills were open or just consmetic?. From: Joseph F. If someone planned to paint their car it would be an interesting experiment to add the louvers on the inside verticals of the deck lid, and to also create a pair of tunnels that would open the engine compartment to the louvers while closing off the vertical area from the trunk insert. Add a drain hole in the back of the tunnels to drain rain down to the ground. Would give some ventilation while standing still if there was a rear window installed, but suspect one would still want a cooling fan for the engine compartment. Neat concept, none the less.
