Re: DeTomaso Digest, Vol 249, Issue 14

Pantera, yellow, quite a prominent role is one episode of "Banacek". About 10 made for TV movies filmed in Boston with George Papard as insurance investigator. On Thu, Mar 13, 2025 at 12:00 PM <detomaso-request@server.detomasolist.com> wrote:

Jeff, I think he's asking about where cars are now, not where they appeared. There's a website (or used to be, not sure) called Banzai Runner that listed the shows and movies where Panteras appeared. Glen,
Garth Rodericks owns the star car from the movie Banzai Runner.
The blue car that appeared in the background of an episode of Breaking Bad just sold at auction in the UK a few weeks ago.
And the Adlers own the Mangusta that was in Kill Bill.
That’s a start….

Dear Mike,
I measured my stock '74 gas tank drain plug with teflon on the threads and found a diameter of 22.5 mm. I was not able to measure the pitch with the plug in situ.
I believe that it is a metric 22 mm diameter plug.

All,
I thought the gas tank drain plug was M22x1.5. Jack Pegoraro has a plug in his tank that is much smaller, something like 17.5 mm which makes me think it’s 3/8 NPT.
Can anybody confirm the 1974 normal drain plug size, and actual OD of the plug?
Mike
