Dear Terry, #1: I don't much about seatbelts, but I have been to the Seatbelt Planet, spoke with them and was given a tour. They seem to know what they're doing and can give you several options for your Pantera seatbelt quandary. https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoomgWvVmSnnaXy7dDa3-aVAmMNS9aO5... #2: yellow civilian---as opposed to racing belt harness---belts in a black interior Pantera could be done, but seems a bit challenging to my tastes. I just got off the phone with Seatbelt Planet. I've been looking for alternatives for my seatbelts for years (the driver side doesn’t retract with the same force and with the windows open, the belt flaps up against the bulkhead--and that's in addition to them looking their age. I want to keep it looking stock so a re-webbing is the perfect solution. They also make repairs (unless the unit is trashed) to the mechanisms. The website doesn't mention dual retractor seatbelt repairs for the Pantera, but they do work on them for, of course, more than the single retractor units. Duals are $240 per belt. When I get my car roadworthy again, I'll be sending my belts to them. No need to make modifications...I can use the break from additional work. The yellow belts would pick up the color of the car nicely but I'm afraid would start to show wear and soiling from you hand reaching for them every time you put them on. Just my humble opinion, going with yellow is a fad, similar to everyone wanting chrome wheels and billet everything back in the ‘90s. Stick with black. It’s timeless. Terry, I’ve got yellow harnesses in my car which are cool. But yellow conventional belts might not be to most people’s liking so if you are thinking of the future, basic black is the way to go. Cheers! Mike Sent from my iPad

Majority opinion for resale would be "Black." I agree with that. Now I only need to find them. Seatbeltplanet.com and SeatBeltsPlus.com look like suspects. Thanks to everyone. #1 No idea but hopefully one of our vendors comes through. #2. From a practical standpoint, keeping yellow belts clean would be a challenge and dirty they would spoil the look of the interior in my opinion. I am not sure it would add to the resale value. I thought it was in this thread but could not find it. I need a source to have the belts for 6328 redone. I would prefer to use the original sill plates. 6328 is a 3-point belt with retractors on both ends. Mike, I went through this in 2019 with my 74 Pantera. I researched the forum, email lists and other sources and decided net new would be better than rebuilding. I ended up buying a 3-point set from Seatbelt Planet (model 30512010 - 3 Point Retractable Lap & Shoulder). They have the nice GT5S style female receivers and allowed me to retain use of the original sill plates. They assemble in the U.S. and are Veteran owned. They only have one retractor reel in the back firewall mount, which I have found works better than the original design. I did have to modify the metal covers to cover the reel in the back firewall, but it blends in fine and is behind my seatbacks. Plus total cost was around $200 delivered. I've really liked them and wanted all new components in a life-safety system. If you wanted to rebuild yours they also provide repair services and rewebbing.
