So I finally got the organic certification for the farm, it has been 2 years. In the next few weeks I'll be picking & selling a few acres worth of avocados to a local distributor.
Now for the Pantera content. Once I get paid for the avocados, I'll be able to afford to ship my cars (push button Pantera & convertible Corvette) from Seattle to SoCal, some time mid-summer. Two years of being separated from my Pantera, I can't wait to tear up some roads. _______________________________________________

Yes you do, Chris . . . Well, in one sense at least. Some have said that when you and Pandora came together, that you "really bought the farm this time . . .". So, by that reasoning, selling the farm and selling Pandora could mean one ant the same. I know that is not in your plans . . . Interesting. 2 years ago, when preparing some things for publication for the Lone Star Fun Rally in Houston, we found their prices to be 50% higher than what we got locally. This was reported to the Board with the recommendation that they might want to look at getting some bides for the magazine and newsletter. Not surprisingly, it was ignored.
So on to bigger and better things; Laurie, congratulations and thanks for taking on the project. I hope we all step up and give you plenty of material for the magazine.

I use a thin and waterproof sound blocking/dampening material from Cascade Audio, VB-2HD, which is ideally suited for a vapor barrier on a car door. It has an adhesive backing that holds the material to the door.

Michael,
Here you go: http://performance-braking.co.uk/
Run by a guy named Jonathan Freeth, who was the head of Girling racing
division when Girling went belly-up. He bought all the inventory, blueprints and tooling and continues to service all Girling products, and can even provide new castings for some models.
He probably offers a rebuild service too.
If you do it yourself be sure to read the manual before you pick up
spanner one, and know exactly what needs to be done in order to compress the piston. Get it wrong and you will destroy the parking brake function.
Cheers!
Mike

Run by a guy named Jonathan Freeth, who was the head of Girling racing division when Girling went belly-up. He bought all the inventory, blueprints and tooling and continues to service all Girling products, and can even provide new castings for some models.
He probably offers a rebuild service too.
If you do it yourself be sure to read the manual before you pick up spanner one, and know exactly what needs to be done in order to compress the piston. Get it wrong and you will destroy the parking brake function.
Cheers!
