Proper placement of Zeus Fasteners

Let me start over. Apologies Would anyone happen to know the proper placement, spacing, and dimensions of the Zeus Fastener holes for the rear removable boot (trunk)? Someone welded and bogged mine over in order to paint the engine bay. Is there a difference between the model years?I could use the removable bit as a template but I am missing that as well.Kind regards,JohnSent using Zoho Mail Let me start over. John , I have a 1971 , 1972 and 1985 . I did a quick check and determined that the 1985 GT5-s is spaced differently than the 1972 pre L . I can supply The specs you need for your 74 if someone can verify that they are the same as the 71 or 72 . - Jim Date: Fri, 1 Jul 2016 22:31:12 -0700 From: jbennett111@zoho.com To: detomaso@detomasolist.com Subject: [DeTomaso] Proper placement of Zeus Fasteners Let me start over. I just slip my boot in, there are no fasteners on mine. Unless you are going for originality, they are not needed. On 7/1/2016 10:31 PM, John Bennett wrote:

I'd be really careful about using anyone else's measurements. Things have a way of drifting. If there are holes in the trunk insert, can't you get it centered and center punch through the holes into the body to position the fasteners?
