Re: [DeTomaso] Hub Centric rear wheel spacers

Terry, Hall Pantera sells a bolt-on spacer like you describe although I don't think it is hub-centric. The red Euro GTS that conked out in France the other day is fitted with a similar, European produced version that is guaranteed to be of the highest quality because its approved for use on Swiss roads and the Swiss vehicle inspection is notoriously tough. I will get that manufacturer info for you. Personally I hate the idea. Besides looking weird, I think it places undue stress on the suspension components. The Swiss car is already suffering from axle wear on one side. While this is a common failure and so can't be entirely blamed on these spacers, intuitively I think they probably exacerbate the situation. Save your sheckels and get a nice set of repro 10-inch wheels from Marvic and that will solve all your problems. :) Mike Sent from my iPhone On Jul 7, 2016, at 7:14, <taappleby@bigpond.com> wrote:
Hi All I'm searching for two, hub centric spacers for the rear of my '74 Pantera, to space out the std 8 inch campy wheels, to fill the rear wheel wells better. Any ideas who stocks them with the 62mm center bore and 5 x 4.5 stud pattern ? Thanks Terry
Cheers!

Terry, I was turned on to this company by Dennis Quella a few years ago. https://www.uswheeladapters.com/ They are local to him and know Panteras well. I have several customers who have been running these spacers for up to 10+ years with no issues. Ron On Jul 7, 2016, at 7:14, <taappleby@bigpond.com> wrote:
