POCA member Gray Gregory is here with best bud/father-in-law Kirby Schrader. Gray is racing his 1970 Chevron B-16 which was first owned by Steve McQueen and took part in the 1970 race: 8-time Le Mans entrant and legendary De Tomaso distributor Claude Dubois, at 83 years young, is driving a replica of the Triumph TR3 that he raced as part of the Triumph team in 1959: One local French pushbutton Pantera broke down and was flat-towed home and the owner returned in his dune buggy! Lots of nice cars in the parking lot including a genuine Si targa and a fantastic replica built around a Pavesi GT5-S Targa: About 80 De Tomaso people from all over enjoyed a splendid dinner: Back at the campsite at midnight and then to the track to watch the cars of course! I finally crawled into the tent after 2 am after a nice session around the campfire (well, mosquito candles)... Up at 930 am and away! Mike Sent from my iPhone
