Monterey Historics - Trackside BBQ
The Monterey MotorsportsReunion (formerly "the Monterey Historics") is fast approaching. All Pantera people and fellow gearheads areinvited to my annual trackside BBQ at Laguna Seca, immediately following the races on Saturday,8/20. So if you'd like to relax and visit with Pantera friends andfellow gearheads after a full day at the races, come by and chill out with beer, wine, chicken, tri-tip, and other good eats. On the other hand, youcould spend an hour sitting in traffic waiting to exit Laguna Seca... Anyway, please reply directly to me if you're planning to comeso I know how much food to buy. Although, I have to say, they did a pretty good job. They were done by National Geographic for a TV special. Not totally accurate but good 'nuf. Bruce has invited me up to talk but I'm not sure I can find a hotel room at this point. Thank you Garth and I will try my best to be there after I leave Concorso. We will be glad to see you and all the other happy faces this year. Nice that Tom Tjaarda will be coming again this year. Maybe he can also show up with us? I really do enjoy seeing you guys. This will be my 25th year being at Monterey and with my Mangusta featured at the 25th McCalls on the 50th Mangusta year is just too cool. This will be a fun year like all the others. The Monterey week is such a true human battery recharge. It normally last me about 9 months then I can taste it. Gota gota go, bye bye hot ass wet hot Louisiana.
