Re: [DeTomaso] Sanden Compressors noises

Rob, If I'm not mistaken, IPSCO sells a kit that modifies Kirk's kit. It eliminates the "fitted", non-adjustable belt and makes it adjustable. It sure makes installation a lot easier. It's not listed on IPSCO's web site so you have to call or e-mail to get details. Also, IPSCO has an idler pulley kit that makes installation and belt tensioning a breeze. http://www.ipsco.org/Pantera%20Parts/Idler%20Pulley.htm Rob, If I'm not mistaken, IPSCO sells a kit that modifies Kirk's kit. All, Here is a photo of the IPSCO water pump idler pulley setup. Note there is no alternator in view, as this car is fitted with a flat firewall kit that moves the alternator outboard of the A/C system. Mike Sent from my iPhone On Sep 15, 2016, at 15:41, "David Nunn" <dnunn@telus.net> wrote:

Mike, It gets even better, that looks to be a different idler again, the one that was previously linked appears to go in the stock location, but was adjustable from the front negating the usual need to get a wrench on the rear. Julian, Yes, he mentioned two different products for different applications but only had a link for the stock replacement idler. My photo shows the idler that replaces the alternator to tension the water pump belt. Mike Sent from my iPhone On Sep 16, 2016, at 14:16, Julian Kift <julian_kift@hotmail.com> wrote:
