John, although a few US vendors have these as used parts, be aware the bracket is made of 1/4" mild steel plate and without the idler pulley, the thing totals around 16 lbs. So shipping to NZ will probably equal the cost of the part. For an original part, try <larrs@panteraparts.com> in Carson City, NV. They are not difficult to make but first you'll need such a part to duplicate, plus a 351-C long block to get the bolt hole positions correct. I made one from 1/4" aluminum plate many years ago, which weighed 3 lbs. My original went to Brisbane for a friends Pantera. I have no idea where an engineering dwg could be found. Good luck- J Deryke -----Original Message----- From: John Bennett <jbennett111@zoho.com> To: detomaso <detomaso@server.detomasolist.com> Sent: Tue, Jul 19, 2016 10:41 pm Subject: [DeTomaso] detomaso pantera alternator bracket Does anyone have a spare pantera alternator bracket or know where to get one? I have a powder coated Motorcraft D3AE stamped adjusting bracket listed as a 08102B Arm, alternator mounting listed for $85.00. We can mail it for you but USPS won¹t disclose the rates until we print the label. It weighs only a half pound so it shouldn¹t cost that much to mail internationally. Larry, Brackets are brackets, arms are arms. The part you have listed as an arm, is the adjusting arm (not bracket) and readily available anywhere. What I believe he is asking for is the Pantera-specific alternator mounting bracket, which bolts to the block and also holds the idler pulley, A/C compressor etc. THOSE are hard to find.... That is correct, but those I mentioned are the only Alternator specific Brackets. There are a few actually US Cleveland models, and a couple more used with the Australian engine. These are described as a 08108A&B series A/C mounting Bracket (that I have in stock)and 08108C&D&E for the Australian alternator Brackets (that I do not have in stock). We have a total possible of no less than 5 of these lower brackets to choose from so we need to try to be specific. Larry On 7/20/16, 10:25 AM, "Mike Drew" <mikeldrew@aol.com> wrote:

Mike's right, I knew I had one but it took me a while to find :) (funny, I can remember where I put something 30 years ago, but what I did with it a couple month ago is now lost!) First look and impression is it would take some time to make a fab drawing and one thing I don't have lattely is time. I won't promise, but if no luck finding, and you want, I could try to make a drawing Joe -----Original Message----- From: DeTomaso [mailto:detomaso-bounces@server.detomasolist.com] On Behalf Of Mike Drew via DeTomaso Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2016 13:26 PM To: larrys@panteraparts.com Cc: detomaso@server.detomasolist.com Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] detomaso pantera alternator bracket Larry, Brackets are brackets, arms are arms.
