After over thinking this… I’ve stalled. I’m currently running a complete TerminatorX EFI system with DualSync distributor and MSD 6efi ignition box and coil. At least 3 adapters are available. The Holley/MSD 8920, 8910 or 8910EIS. Anyone here have experience with this? Brain fogged and electron challenged. Michael Sent from my iPhone

Michael, The adapter is selected based on the tach. It gets its signal from the MSD box. Everything else is irrelevant. Carburetor, fuel injection, nuclear propulsion, it doesn’t matter. Pantera tachs take the 8920. I could well be wrong and will defer to anybody who claims to know better. But absent of that, there’s your answer… Mike Sent from my iPad

That's the correct part. I've run a Sniper Stealth with an MSD distributor and then a Terminator X Stealth with a DualSync distributor. I used the same 8920 with both setups. Gents, I have a Fuel injection system running on a Motec M4. Gauges are original Veglia.Recommended Tach Adapter was a MSD 8920 as mentioned by Mike. My MSD 8920 did not work. I tried to turn up the Gain on the Motec M4 to get a stronger signal to no avail. After some research, I read that the MSD 8920 is hit and miss on whether it works. I read an article (Googled) where you should test your NEW 8920 to see if it is OK. The basis for the article is that this author found a good 8920 only after 3 attempts. I then went with PANTERA ELECTRONICS Tach Adapter. Hook-up is same as MSD 8920. Worked perfectly, even gives an optional extra power wire for things like electric Choke (not needeed in my case). I would highly recommend going with this Pantera Electronics Tach Adapter. Contact Jon at P.E.
