Short and sweet. Suggestion - and you probably know this a lot better than I do. Would it make sense to provide an image hosting service so that when mailman sends bulk e-mail, we can attach to the URL instead of sending the actual attachments in the e-mail? I¹m suggesting this because someone (Asa Jay I think) said that the attachments were one of the reasons the list was getting blacklisted. It might even be possible to do this automagically. By the way, you know that all of the old postings are still available on www.archive.org, right? So, even if messages are deleted from ³this² list, it is virtually impossible to remove it from the Internet. A nasty attachment -might- have been a reason for the excessive bounces by different email relays, yes; or so I had thought. It was very difficult to try and troubleshoot. The last tangible evidence I could find led me to believe it might have been an attachment in a senders email being replicated to all the other; however, I had that person send it directly to me and there was nothing wrong with it... so back to square one I went. Blacklisting is another animal, and can sometimes be caused by excessive emails with huge CC lists. Mailman was configured to stop those in order to help remedy that potential problem. I think Kurt has had more experience with Mailman lists, so I believe the list is in much better hands right now. Easy solution. You can store the PDF on the POCA server and only send out a link to it! VERY VERY easy to do. I do it all the time with the website's I have built. Looks good Kurt, thanks again. The only thing I might add would be assurance that photos can be included as long as they are within the 1.5 M limit, and if there are any restrictions on the type of attachment (pdf, jpeg, etc.) Mike Thomas Pres., Panteras Northwest Yellow '74 #6328 -----Original Message----- From: DeTomaso [mailto:detomaso-bounces@server.detomasolist.com] On Behalf Of Kurt Byrnes Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2016 6:43 PM To: DeTomaso@server.detomasolist.com Subject: [DeTomaso] Please look at the new footer and tell me what everyone thinks.
