We are a Toyota/Subaru/Porsche/Pantera family. The newer vehicles (Toyota Tundra and Subaru Outback) have integrated electronics that are wonderful at best and utterly frustrating at worst. Probably the biggest issue we’ve faced has to be Apple updates: Apple will introduce a new OS, and it cause havoc with CarPlay, often freezing the vehicle’s screen. I’ve asked the Subaru and Toyota techs about a firmware update, to fix the issues, and all I get is a shrug of the shoulders - a fix is allegedly coming, but nobody knows when.
