Mike,
It gets even better, that looks to be a different idler again, the one that was previously linked appears to go in the stock location, but was adjustable from the front negating the usual need to get a wrench on the rear. Julian __________________________________________________________________

Rob,
If I'm not mistaken, IPSCO sells a kit that modifies Kirk's kit. It eliminates the "fitted", non-adjustable belt and makes it adjustable. It sure makes installation a lot easier. It's not listed on IPSCO's web site so you have to call or e-mail to get details.
Also, IPSCO has an idler pulley kit that makes installation and belt tensioning a breeze.

David, Thanks I need both of those.... that is after I have re-installed A/C. I went to install the flat bulkhead kit prior to my Monterey trip and after sending my bulkhead out to Kirk to modify (he didn't have a pattern for the later 9000 series cars). I got as far as pulling the belts out the package for trial fit and thought, oh wait I don't have an A/C compressor installed! Doh!
