Folks,Car is backfiring on deceleration.1972 L-Demon Carb, Eldebrock intake manifold. Stock engine. --No exhaust leak. Removed a few spark plugs, they are dry and tan (ish) brown in color.Plugs are Motorcraft ASF 42c gapped at 40 Rather than remove, regap and clean plugs, can you please recommend what would be a "better" plug and Gap by todays standard? (Car has only about 20k miles on these plugs). What next to troubleshoot backfiring if its not the plugs? Carb cleaner? (although carb look immaculate) Thank you in advance!
