I've had good luck with Oakridge Radiator off Blossom Hill Road. Along with patching up a Pantera Radiator, they built a 4 row Dodge radiator using the original top tank and a "motorhome" lower tank -obviously this took a new, custom core. They had a lot of vintage stuff being worked on ... I was referred to them via a Ferrari guy. But I see on Yelp they're under new ownership so hard to know if they still do old school work. With the tanks off you can of course "kill" any leaking tubes, if the core is otherwise decent. Up to 10% of the tubes I heard somewhere. My radiator was recored in the early 1980's and did fine re cooling, but finally developed a leak in the core. I took it to what used to be a great radiator shop that has since become mainly a general car repair place and they said they can't fix it. Anyone have their stock radiator recored lately? I know a lot of people go with aluminum rads, but I'd rather keep the stock "frame" for appearances sake Jim Oddie (was bumped from the list recently because of too many bounces, so I hope this goes thru) _______________________________________________ Detomaso Email List is not managed by POCA Posted emails must not exceed 1.5 Megabytes DeTomaso mailing list DeTomaso@server.detomasolist.com http://server.detomasolist.com/mailman/listinfo/detomaso To manage your subscription (change email address, unsubscribe, etc.) use the links above.
